The Fonofale

Health Model

This Health Model is called a Fonofale it represents a well-known country/ethnicity called, Samoa. The key features around this Health model are based around its 4 dimensions of Hauora Physical, Spiritual and Other. There is another but this dimension is the main key feature about The Fonofale itself that is known as the Social-Well being, this feature makes the Fonofale significant in its own ways. Like for example Socializing.

Despite the research of the two health models that I've compared and contrasted, both Hauora and The Fonofale, I managed to apply these health models to my well-being at bible studies (Sunday school) there I learnt to communicate and socialize in the house of the Lord which I recall as my personal Fonofale and applying this impacted and changed my personal identity positively .

Experiencing Marine Reserves EMR Action Project

Experiencing Marine Reserves EMR Game
Click on the image below to navigate to the game relating to Experiencing Marine Reserves EMR.

Conceptual Statement

In the context of Experiencing Marine Reserves, I will design and produce a Multi-Level Game for (age limit) 6 - 15-year-olds to be used in an informative way to inform people to seek out understandest on pollution.

Specifications

  • A minimum of three game levels
  • Challenges at each game level that players would find cool, fun and educational
  • At least one sprite
  • At least three backdrops
  • At least three levels
  • the difference between your local area and marine reserve (Competition)
  • Creativity, presentation, leadership, and kaitiakitanga
  • Demonstration of understanding of marine conservation, marine reserves, marine protected areas and or/marine issues in New Zealand
  • New Zealand marine biodiversity and conservation context
  • Addressing a social action
  • At the beginning of the game, you need to state the social action that the game is addressing
  • Each game level and backdrop needs to state in a text box, the issue that relates to the social action
  • The challenge on each game level needs to include pop up text that says how that issue has been solved on that level

Course Of Action Survey
The following is a survey that I used to share the Experiencing marine Game with my peers.

Maze Games and Flappy Birds Codes

For 2 entire periods 10psd were told to collect some screenshots for a lesson of DiGiTech Coding,
As evidence I here by give the links towards my work during DiGiTech lessons with Ms. Anderson

Here are 2 links/slideshows for my DiGiTech Game Presentations...

Level 5
Basic probability
Chance and sample space
Use simple fractions and percentages to describe probabilities.
Calculate probabilities, using fractions, %, and ratios.
Compare and describe theoretical and experimental probability
Tables

  • Chunking
  • Word Bank
Teaching Strategy
Using images to understand probability concepts
Every answer will have a big bottom
When you move along the tree, x More than 1 answer, +
For 2 way tables, first information is the big bottom

Activity 4

Use the spinner above to answer theoretical probability questions.

P(1)= ⅛
P(Red) = ⅜
P(odd number) = 4/8
P(less than 5) = 4/8
P(multiple of 3) = 2/8
P(factors of 8) = 4/8

Spin the basic spinner 40 times to answer practical probability questions

P(orange) = ¼
P(not blue) = ¾
P(grey or pink) = 2/4
P(white) = 0/4

Compare answers above with theoretical data if you had to spin the same spinner 40

P(orange) = 25%
P(not blue) = 75%
P(grey or pink) = 50%
P(white) = 0%

Activity 5

P(Male is married) = 7/10
P(Female is married) = 3/10
P(Choosing someone who is single) = 1 Whole 1/10
Mrs Dunn Flips a coin twice and says that she will either get  heads, 2 tails or 1 head and 1 tail because there are 3 outcomes, the

P(H,T in any order) =
P(T,T) =
Draw a probability tree for theoretical probability and explain…

My Reflection and experience!!!
From my personal experience, I would have to say that my reason about this whole entire topic was really excellent. Because I currently got to work together with my class and my teacher (Mrs Dunn). But out of all topics I would have to say that probability was the best because there was a lot of concentration and communication between each other which I find quite fun and positive in a way.

Sponge Cake

Sponge Cake...

On the 27th of March, Tuesday afternoon, My class and I were currently assigned to create a sponge cake within our groups. As time travelled by each group were given instructions on what to do in the dry and wet ingredients. One person from a group that contains only two people were to be given a role by being trustworthy with the electronic tools. Once the wet and dry ingredients combined the batter was poured into a baking tin and put into an oven. Once the sponge cake was fully cooked we bought it out and shared into between the two.

Recipe
4 eggs
1 Tbsp boiling water
3/4 cups of sugar
1 Tbsp plain flour in cup; fill up rest of cup with cornflour
2 tsp baking powder
